This is a prewar Rickenbacher D12 (double 6) lap steel in very good condition. Both bakelite necks that are mounted to the cast body are in perfect condition with the number 21 stamped in the top edge of each headstock. The original tuners work well. The 1 1 / 2 inch prewar horseshoe pickups are beefy and growly. This is a 1950s Gibson Consolette Double Neck Lap Wood Steel Guitar With Legs. It is in decent condition. It is missing the plastic tuning knots. The wood is on the ends is slightly coming apart but a good glue would fix. The wood near the audio output is cracked. All this can be seen in the pictures. It plays great and sounds amazing. There is crazing on the wood from age. No case included. I don't know much about instruments so this will be an as-is sale.

This Oahu 229K Lap Steel was made around 1938 by Kay in Chicago, Illinois. It is made of resonant solid Mahogany throughout, and while most steels have a shorter scale, this model features a long 25-3 / 4" scale.
