This is a Kalamazoo made by Gibson acoustic guitar they had a run in the 30s-early 40s and a run in the 60s k had stumbled across this guitar with very little info and from what I have found I do believe it is a kg-10 the body is not warped the tuners turn and are pretty clean for age the high e string peg has been changed to a dowel probably got lost through out time the neck maybe alittle
Boed need truss rod adjustment looking to sell if anybody off can provide me more info would be greatly... more

Original 1930s Kalamazoo KG31 archtop acoustic guitar string bridge. Made by Gibson USA. In excellent used condition, no cracks, no separations, thumb wheel adjusters work.
This vintage Kalamazoo archtop bridge was removed from a KG-31 acoustic guitar that had a neck reset. A new, taller bridge was installed and this part is no longer needed

Neck I got in a trade that I don??t have a use for at the moment. Seems to have been refinished at some point. There is a bit of a lip where the finish reaches the fingerboard and they taped it off, could use some sanding.

Throw it on a Kalamazoo or make a new body for it.

Kalamazoo Archtop Guitar. I'm not an expert on these but based on the 14 3 / 4" lower bout I believe it's a KG-21, made in the 1930s. Solid spruce over solid mahogany, in good condition, especially for its age. One crack on the bass side has been glued and seems solid, other shown cracks appear to be just the finish as the wood isn't moving. Playing nicely but also suitable for further restoration.... more

The old Kluson tuners work pretty well considering their age. The Brazilian rosewood bridge is set as low as it will go, but despite the low bridge height, the string action at the 12th fret is fast enough that the guitar is very comfortable to play all the way up the neck

This guitar belonged to my grandfather and has been carefully kept over the years. I??m selling it because I don??t play guitar and it??s just sitting unused
The instrument is in pretty good condition considering its age ?? with normal signs of wear but nothing major. It plays well and has a warm vintage tone

The guitar has a lot of wear and tear all around. There is scratches and small chips throughout the whole body. The stickers on the neck are peeling off, with some already missing. The strings are all still attached and feel sturdy. I am unable to play the guitar so I can not comment on how the instrument plays.

Built by Gibson in Kalamazoo, Michigan sometime between 1936 and 1941, it's a Kalamazoo acoustic archtop guitar, model KG-21. It's like a Gibson L-30. 14-3 / 4" lower bout. Spruce top, mahogany back. Adjustable bridge. Trapeze tailpiece. Plain black pickguard. Bound top and back. Rosewood fretboard. Nickel frets. Sunburst finish on top. There is no factory order number on the inside block.

For sale is a Kalamazoo KGN-12 "Oriole" 1941 Parlor Acoustic in Good Condition!
This classic was made in the famous Kalamazoo plant back in 1941 and for it's age, it plays great!
The acoustic has been professionally serviced. The bridge was removed and belly reducer used, but there is still a significant belly under the bridge. However, if the belly was removed any more, the action would be too low
There is plenty of bone saddle height to adjust down if you so choose

The Kalamazoo Guitar brand was a subsidiary of the Gibson Guitar Co. from Kalamazoo Michigan. At that time, it was a budget model offered price wise but these have come into their own over the last 30 years, some being fabulous original guitars from the late 30's thru the early 40's. This KGN-12 Oriole model was like Gibson's L-oo & is probably the most beautiful 100% original example extent.
