Selling an impeccable vintage Gibson Hummingbird! I believe it's a 1969-70, although serial numbers from that era are hard to nail down
I purchased this guitar from the original owner's family. It has spent most all of its life in its case!
The body of the guitar is made of Honduran mahogany (back and sides), and has a spruce top. It's neck is three piece mahogany with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard

Up for auction is a Vintage Mid 1970's Gibson Hummingbird, Made in USA, with a Rare Double Pick Guard feature. These double pick guard models were often special ordered and used as stage guitars for performers, because of the unique look. The serial number is 405923. Took this to a luthier and got it back to functional order with parts replaced and tuned. The previous owner repaired the neck see photos as there is a crack but there has been any issues when tested. Works as intended. I couldn't find the exact model as its worn from age but best guess is approx. 1970s as that was the luthier estimates as well as what i found online. See photos for exact condition

Absolutely beautiful guitar in lovely condition. It is super light, balanced and resonant with a thermally aged top. Its a 2024 model so its also got lots of natural ageing left to get even better
Its amazing for recording and in a totally different league to the Standard. It needs no eq whatsoever which is crazy for a dreadnought
