Works great but has lots of cosmetic wear. Neck is straight, truss turns, action is low, frets look great, electronics are clean. Truss cover is non-original and only has one screw since the holes don't line up. There's lots of wear and discoloration in the paint. Dings and scratches throughout. Worst offenders pictured. There were stickers on the back at some point and the area they covered is plainly visible. Patina on hardware. Bottom strap button was re-drilled. Comes in a basic gig bag. ... more

This listing is for a Vintage 1970's Greco Jazz Bass model JB-480 Electric Bass guitar. This bass was made in Japan in the early 1970's. The bass is in decent used condition for its age. Cosmetically the bass is very nice and clean and is all original, except it's missing the bridge pickup cover. The bass has the metal covered large style pickups which sound very good. All the electronics are working properly.

Made by the Matsumoku factory in Japan in 1974, this absolute back breaker of a Greco PB is one from the muscle folk. Solid 5pc sen (ash) body with a maple neck (dot inlays and a 41mm nut width), it weighs a mammoth 5kg's. It's got one replacement knob and what looks to be a replacement pickguard but still has the original bridge, tuners and Maxon made pickup that all work perfectly.

The most expensive bass model featured in Greco's 1975 catalog, the SB-850 was the Suzi Quatro model Thunderbird bass. Quatro was contacted by Greco during a Japanese tour in 1974 where they offered to build her a bass to her specs as a gift. After delivering her initial model, they took the same specs and put the SB-850 into a small run of production (making them a very rare model)
