Works great but has lots of cosmetic wear. Neck is straight, truss turns, action is low, frets look great, electronics are clean. Truss cover is non-original and only has one screw since the holes don't line up. There's lots of wear and discoloration in the paint. Dings and scratches throughout. Worst offenders pictured. There were stickers on the back at some point and the area they covered is plainly visible. Patina on hardware. Bottom strap button was re-drilled. Comes in a basic gig bag. ... more

1974 Maxon EB-style pickup. Date code is 24829 (29th August 1974). As used on numerous Japanese basses from the early 1970s. I have had this for years and frankly don't recall precisely which bass it came from. Has some wear as to be expected from a 50+ year old part, but generally in pretty good shape. Reads 9 98K. I took these Tuners from a premium Greco Les Paul style Bass from around 2001, which I upgraded to ratio Tuners. they are in great condition and great quality
I was told by a luthier they are Gotoh, however the only markings on them say Made in Japan. On research Greco were using Gotoh during this period. They are in the 2 left 2 right formation. The diameter of the insert shaft going through the headstock measures at 13 9mm. Screws and washers are all there.... more
