Original vintage 70's chrome plated Gibson Bass bridge in vintage condition. Original equipment for many Gibson basses of that era. There's scratches, wear and pitting in the chrome plate. There's rust on the screws but everything works. Studs are NOT included

This listing is for two original Black Gibson 0-5 Guitar / bass knobs from the late 70's - 80's. These were only used on the Artist series of guitars and basses. They're pretty rare. These are in nice shape with minor nicks scratches, and dings. Not too yellowed.

The serial number is ??73449542?? which dates it to 1979. The body is in good condition overall, but there are small dings, scratches and scuffs. Nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage guitar and there are no cracks or structural issues

For sale is a 1977 Gibson RD Artist in Good Condition
This bass is in good condition. There is plenty of finish checking leading to a beautifully aged look. There is stand wear along the edges of the headstock. The frets are low but in good shape and do not have any divots. It has been setup and ready to play by our in-house repair shop
There are three primary issues
1. The electronics work except for the expansion circuit on the bridge pickup

This Gibson RD Artist is a 1978 vintage model. I am thesecond owner for the last 45 years. It was my most goto ax for all those years Only played at gigs rarely. There's a story behind this guitar. The serialnumber was neatly carved off by the previous owner, young kid form DouglasIsland, Alaska. Not sure why but my guess is it was stolen

Thank you for looking at this auction. This is a rare Gibson artist bass guitar. It's definitely was in the works of somebody trying to rebuild it. It looks like what's interesting about it is it's comes in pieces I don't. It looks like there's little wood wedges that actually hold the body parts together. I don't have the wood wedges. Made in Kalamazoo Michigan USA pre 1973 ,not been played used for over 20 years, stored in its original Canadian made hard case,
as you can see it has a twin inlay through the body instead of the 1 central inlay Gibson use ,this was a trail when reforming the j200 into the Artist model we see from the 70's, must have been to difficult with the accuracy needed to inlay twin bands this way and stuck to the single inlay for ease of build - manufacture,

Quite clearly a one-of-a-kind instrument. The bass was overhauled by Feline Guitars, and then repainted by Simms Customs. All Moog electronics intact.
