Today I have a working vintage Gibson / Epiphone Mini humbucker That reads 6 73K The lead is about12 inches. and the cover is chrome . Making me think it was a neck position pickup This one has long legs, my pickup guy says it will only work in archtops or hollow bodies . He says the long legs can't be modified without great risk. Vintage 1930s Kalamazoo KG-31 archtop acoustic guitar made by Gibson. This 1930s KG-31 has a bound neck and a bound pickguard and is 100% original. The old Kluson tuners work pretty well considering their age; the D an G string tuner knob shafts are bent. The Brazilian rosewood bridge is set as low as it will go. Despite the low bridge height, the string action at the 12th fret is fast enough that the guitar plays comfortably all the way up the neck. Plays particularly great with a killer vintage feeling neck that is nice and straight and no buzz or issues. Neck angle is good and playability is excellent

The Harmony H62 (c. 1957)?? Basically the poor musician??s Chuck Berry guitar. Big sexy full-depth round cutaway electric archtop with single coil Gibson pickups. Of course, for one-fifth the price there are a FEW differences. Only 16?? instead 17?? as for the ES 350. And it IS a Harmony and NOT a Gibson. Those Gibson P-13 pups were eventually replaced over in Kalamazoo by the new P-90 and farmed out to other companies. 1939 Gibson L-7. Classic, vintage archtop guitar with the sound that will bring you back to the 30's. Sounds fantastic. No cracks, finish looks great, so does the binding. Classic piece, no modifications that I am aware of except likely a new pick guard (to be expected) and maybe end pin. Some minor nitro-webbing does occasionally occur near the pickguard, but only seems to appear during low humidity. This Gibson L-5 Special appears to have shipped on February 7, 1937 to Volkwein's Music in Pittsburgh according to the Gibson ledgers. The store still exists to this day as a family owned business. The serial number also appears to be a repeat of one that is on another L-5 (not a special) that shipped in 1936 that has a different factory order number. This guitar, bearing the Factory Order Number: 3369G and Serial Number 97051, was made and shipped by Gibson in 1941 and was part of the last batch of instruments sold before production at the Kalamazoo factory switched to wartime military equipment
