This Gibson L-5 Special appears to have shipped on February 7, 1937 to Volkwein's Music in Pittsburgh according to the Gibson ledgers. The store still exists to this day as a family owned business. The serial number also appears to be a repeat of one that is on another L-5 (not a special) that shipped in 1936 that has a different factory order number. 1939 Gibson L-7. Classic, vintage archtop guitar with the sound that will bring you back to the 30's. Sounds fantastic. No cracks, finish looks great, so does the binding. Classic piece, no modifications that I am aware of except likely a new pick guard (to be expected) and maybe end pin. Some minor nitro-webbing does occasionally occur near the pickguard, but only seems to appear during low humidity. The Harmony H62 (c. 1957)?? Basically the poor musician??s Chuck Berry guitar. Big sexy full-depth round cutaway electric archtop with single coil Gibson pickups. Of course, for one-fifth the price there are a FEW differences. Only 16?? instead 17?? as for the ES 350. And it IS a Harmony and NOT a GIbson. Those Gibson P-13 pups were eventually replaced over in Kalamazoo by the new P-90 and farmed out to other companies. 1938 Gibson L-50 archtop acoustic guitar with a carved spruce top, mahogany neck, maple sides and carved maple back. This L-50 has had a few repairs. There are top cracks at the lower bout, under and to the bass and treble side of the tailpiece. Each was glued and are stable. The back plates separated at the center glue seam, also at the top shoulder bout rim and at the treble side of the lower bout rim. Vintage 1930s Kalamazoo KG-31 archtop acoustic guitar made by Gibson. This 1930s KG-31 has a bound neck and a bound pickguard and is 100% original. The old Kluson tuners work pretty well considering their age; the D an G string tuner knob shafts are bent. The Brazilian rosewood bridge is set as low as it will go. Here is a fairly rough 1930s Gibson L-30 for repair. Guitar has numerous cracks in the body: three on the top and three on the back, one of which is quite substantial. There is separation on the lower left side between the top and the side, as well as slight separation between the back and the binding in two areas

Today I have a working vintage Gibson / Epiphone Mini humbucker That reads 6 73K The lead is about12 inches. and the cover is chrome . This listing is for a Vintage Gibson Archtop Guitar Pickguard. The pickguard was marked as coming off a 194 Gibson L4-C but this was in a large collection of parts so we cannot confirm that. The pickguard is modified and has been notched for a pickup. As best I can tell this pickguard would have originally come with a L4-C, L5-C or L7-C amount other models and appears be made in the sometime in 1940's 1950's or early 1960's.
