I purchased this L5-S from Dick Sodja Music in Cleveland Hights in 1974 when I was in junior high. I have the original receipt. Original case in excellent shape included. Played very little because it is very heavy and I was playing 4 hour gigs my shoulder could not take it. Retired now and need $$.... more

This is a 1951 Gibson Brazilian rosewood bridge in very good condition. It came from a '51 es125 but is correct for a bunch of models in the early 50s - including the L5-ces, Super 400, es 300, es 350, es150, and others. Top of saddle shows some minor normal player wear, but still a good clean working example

Paperwork that came with this ??pre-war?? beauty, identifies its former owner as Richard Jansen, a student and protege of Johnny Smith and side man for folks like Carrol Kaye, Bill Withers, Grover Washington, and others. I have been unable to find out more about Richard and his career
