This is a well-used but very playable mid-70s Japanese Epiphone FT-145 "Texan" dreadnought guitar. It has a low action and a nice, easy style to it, and sounds great. It's got its fair share of knocks and bumps on the neck and body, and there's a repair to the side below the neck (where some damage has been patched up) that could perhaps be tidier (see pics), but it's not hugely conspicuous in most lights. 1965 Epiphone Texan in excellent condition for its years. This is the same spec as Paul McCartney??s and has the more desirable nut width of 41mm. On offer is a vintage early 1970's Japan-import Epiphone Dreadnaught Acoustic FT-145 Texan guitar project. The Serial # is a six digit sequence and is '440586'. The exact dating of Japanese Epiphones is somewhat uncertain but this guitar has the early Blue label inside the soundhole as described in the following extract, with 'Made in Japan' printed on the label, indicating the guitar was made between 1972 and 1975
