I am not sure what model this guitar is as the writing inside the sound hole has faded over time. Possibly a Ranger? There are no loose or broken braces inside the body. I am not certain of what model acoustic guitar this neck is from, possibly a Ranger in the 1960's -70's era The body is in another listing. New frets were installed, but they have not been levelled. This is a cool vintage instrument. We just put fresh strings on it. Sounds and plays so good! Straight neck. Fully functional. Made in Italy. It has electronics. The jack has something a little off in that if you jiggle the cord sometimes the sound will cut in and out. It could be the tip needs pressed in more. Simple fix. Sounds good as an acoustic. This guitar has some dings and scratches over the years giving it character, but nothing major. Someone will love this blast from the past!

Having to downsize my guitar collection sadly selling my EKO J54 Vintage 1960s Acoustic guitar
This guitar is the predecessor to the ranger series, not many of these around now!
I bought this around 8 years ago as a little project, fitted new tuners and found a set of the original star bridge pins. The saddle is graphtech and adjusted for intonation. Action is nice and low, and of course the bolt on neck does away with expensive neck resets

This is a lovely example of a superbly made EKO Texan guitar from the 1960??s in very good order. I??ve just restrung it and set it up; the truss rod turns freely and does what it should! It??s got the typically higher action as the bridge saddle is supplied quite tall on these but will come down to a nice low setting if desired with a little filing! No splits or cracks anywhere and the arched back is in good order. No loose struts and it sounds exactly as it should

I bought it with a headstock repair where it has been dropped so please look in the pictures to see all the damage cased by this, there is a crack in the body right next to where the neck mounts, a crack right at the headstock and also 2 very small ones on the body right next to the neck.
