This is a limited-edition acoustic guitar from Alvarez's 50th Anniversary collection, built in 2015 and exhibited at the 2015 NAMM. This is a beautiful vintage Alvarez case that is thinner than the average acoustic guitar case. It??s only 4 inches wide when shut. I??m assuming that it is intended for use with an electric guitar or a thin line acoustic guitar. It is rare as there are no other ones that I can find anywhere. Vintage 1976 Alvarez model 5024 "Dove" Acoustic Guitar with Case. It was made in Japan and can use some TLC.

The original tuners have been swapped out with Grovers (see pics), the pick guard needs attention / re-glued and the bridge was screwed down (see pics) at some point so it needs attention / repair as well.

1980s alvarez 5025 made in Japan. great condition for a 40 year old guitar. Frets have plenty of life left, neck angle is great (no need for a neck reset). Sounds great with upgraded bone saddle with plenty of material remaining for a adjustment if you desire but it plays great the way it is. Neck is medium thick with a slight V shape. Very comfortable. Strung up with Martin Retro light strings
There's a few blemishes and nicks around the guitar, please look at the photos very carefully.... more

Very good overall condition for age. Made in Japan. This is quite a collectable and rare model. Some surface indents and light scratching, but otherwise excellent. Action is moderate at 12th fret, not super-low, but there is enough saddle height to lower this somewhat if desired. Appears to have authentic signature. Frets not worn and in good condition.
