Vintage guitars for sale: acoustic eko

For sale locally is a vintage Eko j54. The guitar was the precursor to the Eko ranger and made in Italy before 1967. Later models were called eko rangers. The j54s were made with better construction and solid tops. Guitar plays well and the electronics work. All original with adjustable bridge. I havent seen one in better used condition. This is a cool vintage instrument. We just put fresh strings on it. Sounds and plays so good! Straight neck. Fully functional. Made in Italy. It has electronics. The jack has something a little off in that if you jiggle the cord sometimes the sound will cut in and out. It could be the tip needs pressed in more. Simple fix. Sounds good as an acoustic. This guitar has some dings and scratches over the years giving it character, but nothing major. Someone will love this blast from the past!

I am not certain of what model acoustic guitar this neck is from, possibly a Ranger in the 1960's -70's era The body is in another listing. New frets were installed, but they have not been levelled. Eko Ranger 12. Made in Italy most likely in the 70??s (if not 60??s).
Very good condition despite age. It has a few bumps here and there, and a very visible crack in the top, as shown in the pictures (these cracks are extremely common in Eko acoustic guitars, as they are made of plywood). The truss rod cover is cracked as well. Apart from this everything else is fine, overall very good condition

There appear to be lots of Ranger acoustic guitars. This is a Colorado! Not necessarily better, but at the time of listing there were no exact matches for this guitar in the UK. This is a Vintage EKO Texan Guitar Handmade In Italy
It has a few dings and marks, it has a couple of odd tuning pegs ( easily replaceable) they work fine !
Just behind the bridge there is a slight swelling but the bridge is sound
The guitar sounds fantastic !
This is a great project for someone to fix up it??s extremely rare and will only rise in value !
