Here we have a real gem of a very rare bass. This bass is a 1 owner from a customer who's Dad bought it for him as a Christmas present 40 years ago. The kid never took it out of the house and rarely played it yet has treasured it all these decades. He reluctantly has to let it go now as he says it's 'time'. Fun guitar. Works great, but lots of cosmetic wear. The tuners were upgraded to Hipshot locking tuners. There are holes from the originals. Bridge was also upgraded to Gotoh. This is an all black Roadstar2 RS1300 which was the top of the Roadstar range. for full spec check out ibanez fandom wiki and search for RS1300
It has had the knobs, strap buttons, switch and 1 pot replaced (I still have these original parts which will be included). The frets are low and wide but clean with minimal wear. The body has the less bevelled edge and the unusual construction where the neck pickup sits right at the end of the fretboard.
There is plenty of natural wear and lacquer checking, especially on the headstock. No breaks or cracks
Hardware is mostly original save for the Faber ABR with conversion studs ( original collapsed)
