This guitar is insanely amazing. This is an extremely rare transitional model from the sg 1 to the sg 100 junior. It??s estimated 272 of these were made but I think it might be less than that. Early 1972 Gibson SG Special in Cherry Red. Made in USA. The cherry red has faded to a dark walnut color. However, there is still evidence of the cherry red underneath the pickguard, pickup mounting rings, and the back of the body and neck is slightly more red than the front.
