An excellent playing bass that I??m sad to let go, but I??m thinning the herd. Second owner of a well gigged with instrument. All original finish and parts except for the tuning machines. I do have the original tuning machines that I will send with the bass should you wish to put them back on. The previous owner had a case custom made out of a church organ bench back in the early seventies and it??s a very cool addition to an already cool bass. Good condition Fender Mustang Bass in Competition Red. All original, no breaks. The original finish on this example looks excellent in person. This example has also been played, as in shown with the typical play wear and weathering that tends to pop up on this models. This one sounds exceptional. The original pickups have an exceptionally clear low end, while producing some very pleasing pick definition when played harder. The racing stripes on this model are also very much in tact. Vor mehr als 15 Jahren habe ich diesen Bass vom Erstbesitzer gekauft. Der Bass wurde viel gespielt (siehe Bild von der linken Halsseite!) und funktioniert auch heute noch wunderbar, die Bünde sind noch lange nicht abgespielt. Lediglich die Hülse für die E Saite auf der Rückseite wurde erneuert (siehe Bild), ansonsten ist das Instrument in absolutem Originalzustand (3, 5 KG!).
