Vintage guitars for sale: 1971 gibson bass

For sale is a Gibson Slothead EB-3 1971 - Cherry Fretless Bass w / Original Gibson Case in Good Condition!
This bass is an absolute monster and sounds incredible! I don't know for sure (I kinda doubt it) that this would have come from the Gibson factory as fretless. However, whoever did the job has done it professionally and it looks great!
The electronics work perfectly and it has that classic "double bass" tone in the first position!

This is an original 1971 SB-400 Bass in abso;ute Great Condition. It;s been completely gone through and set up looks and sounds like New. SG-shaped, and finished in walnut or cherry, these basses were very different to the EB basses available in 1971. In fact the body shape and colour about the only thing these basses have in common. 1971 Gibson EB-2D Bass
The serial number is "619435" which dates it to 1970-1972. It has the "Made In USA" on the back of the headstock but no volute. One of the pots also dates to January 1971 (137-7104). The body is in excellent condition overall and there are no major dings. There are some scratches, scuffs and general wear, but pretty remarkable for a vintage guitar. No cracks, modifications or structural issues
