Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1971 Fender Mustang Bass in its original Competition Red finish with a matching headstock. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original with the exception of the nut and the added Jazz Bass bridge cover. It is also 100% complete with the exception of the mute pads. Up for sale is a sweet 1971 Fender Competition Mustang in Competition Orange. This example features a MAY71B neck stamp, a pair of original grey bottom Mustang pickups with original pots and switches, original bridge / tremolo unit and hardware, original tuning keys and neck plate as well as original body routes. The pickup leads have been cut and then re-soldered at some point and there is evidence of touched up solder joints on the pots and wiring. The body finish has a slightly darker shade... more
