This listing is for an extremely nice original 1963 Fender Jazzmaster or Jaguar White Tolex Guitar Case. As I was told that in 1963 Fender changed the color of the tolex on their guitar cases from brown to white with black leather trim. I have owned this 1964 Fender Jaguar for over 20 years but it now needs to find a new home as I am not playing it much now
The neck date and dates on the pots all ties together, therefore as far as I can tell it is all original. The neck plate is a very early CBS plate - so it is probably a "transition" instrument with final assembly being post CBS. One of the pick up switches has been replaced, which is visible in the photo. This predates my ownership, but I have the original switch.
