One of the most unique guitars I have had in here. This is a 1952 Gibson Les Paul with factory added burst (1958-1959) era appointments. Sometime in 59-60 it was sent back to Gibson for a new finish in all gold (front and back!). The Gold color is the later version in use at the end of the decade. It also received at least new fretboard with fatter burst era frets. It is possible that it was renecked, but it does have the earlier style tenon and truss rod cutout placememt.
