This is an original 1959 Fender Tweed Champ amp 5F1 w / an original Jensen speaker dated to the 47th week of 1958. Its factory label is perfectly intact & dated ??IB?? for February 1959. The tweed covering is a bit tired mostly on its bottom side in need of some re-gluing. Its grill cloth is quite nice. 1959 Silvertone Model 1431 Combo Amplifier - Working - Read
Amp is in great shape, its volume knob is a little dirty and needs a clean. Its gets that crackling when you turn it sometimes, im not great at fixing vintage electronics so im not going to mess with it but when this used to happen to my tour amp i would just clean the knobs out and it would be fine. The tubes also work but probably need a change as well. It is all original parts and working

Presented for your consideration is this Vintage Silvertone Guitar. The number stamped on the inside reads 3974H602 making this a Harmony Silvertone H602 manufactured between 1956-1959. This vintage Bassman has the original tweed covering, grill cloth and all of the main components are original. Some capacitors have been changed. One of the speakers was bad and has been replaced, but the same style Jenson from the same year was used. 1959 Hofner Committee, a relic! In very good cosmetic condition. I cannot comment on the electronics because it has not been played for many years and I do not have an amplifier. In original condition except for the addition of the Bigsby and the original pickups, which were replaced in the 1970s with more modern Hofner ones. For 60 years of age it is in remarkable condition. There are some scratches, in fact quite a few all around the body. Cosmetic and with the nicely darkened laquer they give the instrnent this wonderfull patina. Great sounding and playing Gretsch 6120. Ive had a few of these and this one sounded the best. I'm selling it as I really want to buy another Setzer signature model with it's slightly deeper neck profile. This guitar performed faultlessly at high volume and twith excellent uning stability for a whole UK Boomtown Rats 50th anniversary tour at the end of last year. 2019 Marshall Bernie Marsden signature Head and cab. A modified run of the 1959HW to the specs of Bernie Marsdens own late 70??s JMP. The 1959HWBM has a lightly modified circuit for more grit and kick with its earlier break up and crunch, but don??t mistake this as it being more usable?? it??s still a Plexi that wants to knock over walls!

* leather ends are very worn=through to the wood & leather is partly missing
