This is a wonderful super early 1st example of an all original 1958 Gretsch 6122 Country Gent that??s been enjoyed most of its life. It has a distinctive see-thru Walnut stain over a very figured maple Top example. Its headstock features the Gretsch T logo, its serial # is stamped into the headstock plaque dated to 1958. Thinning out the herd! 1958 Gretsch Streamliner 6191 BLONDE. Full hollow body guitar. The pickup is the original and sought after PAF FILTERTRON! Bigsby was added years ago. The bridge is a TRU-ARC stainless steel bridge with a 9 5 in radius to match the guitar neck radius. The bone nut was replaced a few years back. Here is a 1958 Gretsch Anniversary guitar. I got this from the second owner whose dad bought it for him in 1962 while he was in high school. He said he rarely ever played the guitar because he really wanted a Les Paul. The tailpiece was changed before he received the guitar from his dad. Everything else is completely original.
