Vintage closed-back Kluson Deluxe tuner set with rare opaque original buttons, removed from a vintage Gibson acoustic. No bent shafts. Vintage 1947 to early 1952
Kluson Deluxe is stamped down the center of the gear cover, and there is no second tuner post hole on the opposite side of the gear cover. The bottom of the gear cover has an external ??PAT APPLD?? stamping, and on the bottom side of the tuners, stamped in the metal, it says ??2356766 PAT APPLD

This is a really nice original Gibson ES-125 Archtop Electric guitar. This plays amazing. The action and intonation are great and has an incredible tone. Amplified and acoustic. The guitar does have a repair at the upper shoulders. This is a common problem but has been professionally repaired and does not affect the play. 4 ohms Secondary impedance 25 to 30 watts
This is a clean working unit. There is a bit of varnish on the leads from the V P.I. process where transformer windings are submerged in hot varnish and then pressurized with air to force the varnish deep into the windings. 1952 Gibson J-185 in excellent condition. No breaks or major cracks. Everything appears to be original. Perhaps tuners and pins have been replaced at one time. Although listed as a 1952, the FON on the neck block shows a 1951 or earlier, as 1952 FON should begin with a Z. Comes with a new Gibson case, but also have a vintage case that came with it. Would prefer local pickup but I will ship at the expense needed to ensure a safe delivery (not UPS).... more
