This was a rare find. It has an original case with original setup from 1979. The only flaws was a hairline crack on the tuning headstock which was professionally repaired by a music shop. The photo shows the music shop repair. One tone knob is missing and neck pickup cover is crack. Please review the before and after photos. The neck was adjusted & new strings. Peavey T-40 Natural 1980 with all original hardware bass guitar
Used. Shows signs of usage. I am no guitar expert so I will do my best to describe what I am capable of. Did work when plugged into an amp. All switches and knobs functioned. There was some lite static from the knobs when they were being turned. Neck appears to be straight. On the top of the headstock there is some visible damage as shown in the pictures. For your consideration is this 1982 Peavey T-40 bass guitar in near mint condition. No dings, dents or scratches. Bass was just re-fretted and plays great. Electronics work exactly as they should. Two volume controls-two "tone" controls-3 way pickup selector and a phase switch. The tone controls actually roll the pickups from humbuckers to single coils. This bass has been refretted with dunlop 6100s and refinished with amber- gunstock color tinted poly.
All electronics and pots are refreshed with 500k cts pots and currently wired as double humbucker setup (Volume - Volume - Tone - Tone) I have all of the original parts which will be included along with original hardcase
