Vintage 1979 Peavey T-40 bass. Definitely a working man's bass, complete with dings and scuffs, plenty of character for a 45 year old bass. Electronics cleaned, both switches replaced, neck crack by tuner glued solid, bass set up in August 2024, ready to be gigged.

The frets were professionally removed and filled by original owner. Looks like it would be from the factory. Very smooth. There is a Crack down the middle at the higher frets (see pic) also professionally repaired

For your consideration is this 1982 Peavey T-40 bass guitar in near mint condition. No dings, dents or scratches. Bass was just re-fretted and plays great. Electronics work exactly as they should. Two volume controls-two "tone" controls-3 way pickup selector and a phase switch. The tone controls actually roll the pickups from humbuckers to single coils. 1982 Peavey T-40 with Hoxey Aluminum Neck 9 5?? radius, 34?? scale length currently set up for Drop C with D??Addario 50-120. The nut is a GraphTech Model 1205-00 if you wanna set it up for a different string gauge. Body in worn condition as expected of a 40+ year old instrument. These aluminum necks start at $500. I picked this up at a farm auction sometime last year. Pictures seven and eight will show two small cracks. Besides the cracks this bass is in good condition. It has been tested and it works. It comes with some extra strings two guitar straps and the case. The case is nothing special, but it'll help protect it in shipping. Check out the pictures for more information. This bass has been refretted with dunlop 6100s and refinished with amber- gunstock color tinted poly.
All electronics and pots are refreshed with 500k cts pots and currently wired as double humbucker setup (Volume - Volume - Tone - Tone) I have all of the original parts which will be included along with original hardcase
