1981 (serial number 00876042) Peavey T-40 in the rare white finish, professionally refurbished by Curtis Guitars. In the original injection molded Peavey hard case. Sale includes a copy of the shop receipt.
All functions tested and passed, including the potentiometer controlled coil splitting. New strings, frets leveled and dressed, complete setup. Small hole in pickguard made by previous owner to add an additional switch (removed). No other significant cosmetic issues. Very minor dings, ... more

This Vintage 1980 Peavey T-40 4-String Bass Guitar is in excellent condition. It has been well played over the years and shows various dings, dents, and scratches on the body (see pictures). Very cool heavy vintage bass with a great variety of tones it's a beast!
Bass is in overall great condition. Plays very well. Electronics, switches and knobs in great working condition
The frets were professionally removed and filled by original owner. Looks like it would be from the factory. Very smooth. There is a Crack down the middle at the higher frets (see pic) also professionally repaired

This bass has been refretted with dunlop 6100s and refinished with amber- gunstock color tinted poly.
All electronics and pots are refreshed with 500k cts pots and currently wired as double humbucker setup (Volume - Volume - Tone - Tone) I have all of the original parts which will be included along with original hardcase
