These bass guitars are built like tanks. This is the heaviest bass I've owned, but that's why the tone sounds so thick - this is enhanced by the flat wound strings on it.
The Magnum 1 bass is a passive bass. This is unlike the active electronics in the Magnum 2 - which can get noisy.

x1809xUp for sale is a nice, used Ovation Preacher guitar. This guitar is in overall condition. There are normal signs of use and wear, including some light dings to the body and back of neck. I tried to get photos of these, but they did not show up very well. There are no major scratches.
I tried finding an exact date by serial number, but was unable to find a good database. Partial serial # is E 1809x

For sale today is a Custom Restored Ovation Matrix 1137 with Road Runner fitted hardshell case. This Matrix has a rosewood fretboard with the matrix aluminum reinforced foam neck, Schaller M6N tuners with Ovation logo plates. All the tuners have been disassembled, cleaned and freshly greased. This is a good condition Ovation Ultra 1311, made in USA, with a repaired top. Plays nicely and sounds both deep & resonant to my ears By my estimation, the bridge lifted at some point and cracked the top. Bridge appears to have been re-glued, top cracks have been filled. The exterior of this case does have a few dings in it: two along the ridge of the top mold, a slight crack on the front side, and one of the metal knob feet is caved in a bit. There is also a slight gap between the top and bottom in the back side when closed. See pictures for details.
All that being said, they are all minor flaws and this case functions perfectly and still looks awesome!

A rare find a 1979 Ovation electro acoustic 1627 Glen Campbell signature model. At 45 years old it is in remarkable condition no dings or cracks to be found. Miraculously it looks like no-one has played this for more than a couple of hours in 46 years! It has been kept in a case with a humidifier - which may have made a ll the difference

Late 1980s ( I think ) Ovation Ultra Series 1312 bowl back acoustic guitar. Made in Korea. (6 digit serial number on silver sticker on the inside)
Pre owned condition, as you can see from the pics the top has 3 lacquer cracks running from the back of the bridge to the edge of the body and another on the treble side of the soundhole, these are only in the finish and do not follow the grain of the Spruce top and a google search suggests this is quite a common occurance with older Ovations ... more

This Vintage Ovation 1970??s Brown Deep Bowl Guitar Hard Case presents a classic aesthetic with its hard construction and plush amber velvet interior.
Has a few dents and marks on the external part of the case as shown. One latch in the middle won??t click shut - but the case still stays closed just fine. It??s a 50 year old case, but still works and would match well if you have an older deep bowl Ovation
