Vintage guitars for sale: National

Up for sale here is this rare vintage watch-case-style volt meter, from the 1910s or 1920s and Made in USA. It has the original box and leather case. This is a gorgeous vintage Made in USA watch-case meter. It is in good shape, with light to moderate wear, and has a nice patina. This is untested unit I don't know how accurate it is--these are generally not super-accurate. Please see my pictures for details and measurements.

In the 1930-40??s National produced something like 19, 000 Duolians. They were mostly C-series with a grey or green finish, and some turned a light golden color. In 1934 National produced one hundred G-series Duolians with Gold Duco finishes, a non-ribbed cover plate, a gold colored tailpiece, and the G-series serial numbers. This is one of the last five or so, being numbered G195.

A vintage 1950's or 1960's National / Supro / Valco guitar pickup. Made in Chicago, USA. It has a bracket for hanging this from the end of a fretboard. This was how they were installed, so it was like a "floating" pickup. You can cut off the bracket and use it in the bridge position if you want. you would need to replace two of the pole piece screws with mounting screws.
This is a single coil pickup, with north polarity on the pole pieces.

1931 National Triolian Mandolin in walnut burst
finish. This has clearly been well played over the years and has wear in all the right places. Original cone and tuners. There was a pickup retro fitted, I suspect back in the 40??s or 50??s, and it has left a few small holes. This was removed recently as it was affecting the sound. Here we have a 1981 International Series Fender Precision bass in Cherry Sunburst with a P / J modification. As 70's Fender's increase in value, 1980's models are becoming increasingly sought after and here's an opportunity to invest in a quality, vintage bass at a reasonable price.

It's in very good condition for its age, with some wear and blemishes as you'd expect on a 44 year old vintage guitar. The finish is starting to age and change colour giving it a vintage vibe and there's some light wear to the frets which is cosmetic only, and not effecting playability.
