One of the most playable examples of these old MIJ guitars I've had my hands on. Low action all the way up the fretboard. Neck is straight (not 100% perfect, but really good for its age), frets are excellent, electronics are clean. New D'Addario 10s. Plenty of expected cosmetic wear throughout. Dings and scratches. This is an extremely rare, (due to its translucent blue finish), Mosrite Celebrity III electric guitar made circa 1971 (but could be as early as 1968) at the factory in Bakersfield California. The bass is an overall great shape with some minor wear where the arm goes over the upper bout, there are some chips in the paint near the neck joint shown in the pictures, and a spot of wear on the lower belt edge near the control plate as shown in the pictures. This is a neat early production 1964 Mosrite Ventures Bass w / all its 1st issue bits by Semie himself. Its Sunburst finish is rich & clean other some weather checking all over but its very intact & quite nicely patinated.
