The bass is an overall great shape with some minor wear where the arm goes over the upper bout, there are some chips in the paint near the neck joint shown in the pictures, and a spot of wear on the lower belt edge near the control plate as shown in the pictures. There are some minor things on the neck, and two larger ones near the volute as shown in the pictures

This is a neat early production 1964 Mosrite Ventures Bass w / all its 1st issue bits by Semie himself. Its Sunburst finish is rich & clean other some weather checking all over but its very intact & quite nicely patinated. One of the most playable examples of these old MIJ guitars I've had my hands on. Low action all the way up the fretboard.
