This is a really beautiful clean instrument. This is the ES-335 style thin line body. This come with the cool trapeze style tremelo system. I'm not entirely sure whether this one is a SE 500 or 600. I would assume it is a 600 because of the Excel pickups which were higher end. All original. Very sought after vintage maxon excel pickups. Incredibly versatile guitar made in the legendary Matsumoku factory in Japan. This was the top of the Spectrum range. Comes with string locks and original whammy bar. A few small scratches and dings as you??d expect but only noticeable flaws are two small holes by the bridge where a Roland thingy was fitted then removed and some paintloss on the head (see photos)

Fantom was a short lived brand distributed by Aria and built by the Matsumoku factory alongside all the other major Japanese brands of the era (see photos for catalogue). The label featured Fender / Gibson style guitars exclusively and focused on value for money. This guitar sold for 38, 000¥ in 1977. Aria Pro II Cardinal series CS-350 in See Thru Red. Made in 1981 at the Matsumoku factory Japan. Really cool guitars ( Kurt Cobain played, smashed and burned a CS-250) and are one of the best guitars to come out of Japan in this price range.
