The Vantage VP-750 Matsumoku Ghost, also known as The Paul clone, is an electric guitar from 1979. This project requires work. The previous owner stripped / sanded the finish off of the front & back. The guitar then sat for several years and as a result the wood began to separate. There are splits all around the sides, and a seam separation on the top at the lower bout. Last year for Matsumoku guitars, this 1987 Spectrum 2 showcases their build for a shredding superstrat guitar. Very low action and heavy metal tone Is just what the doctor ordered. A great player with several bumps and chips as shown in pics but just cosmetic. Very little fretwear on neck. Missing Allen wrenches, locking nut blocks and screws and no trem arm. Weighs in at 8 5lbs. Plays out nicely. Comes with rough OHSC but protects guitar.

I have copied some information in the photos, basically ordered by a music shop owner in this country and made in Japan (maybe Fujigen or Matsu, not sure). This is something you don't see often - a half-century-old and fully operational Aria Diamond 5020 from the Matsumoku factory
Manufactured between 1970-74, the 5020 is a maple hollowbody shortscale (30, 5 " ) with rosewood fingerboard and sunburst finish. 1983 Epiphone Sheraton made in Japan matsumoku factory, pre elitist model and pre cheaper Korean and Chinese models. The guitar is in brilliant condition for being 43 years old, very high build quality and woods in these older Japanese models, the frets are original and in fantastic condition and the guitar plays and sounds amazing. Aria Pro II Cardinal series CS-350 in See Thru Red. Made in 1981 at the Matsumoku factory Japan. Really cool guitars ( Kurt Cobain played, smashed and burned a CS-250) and are one of the best guitars to come out of Japan in this price range.
