Last year for Matsumoku guitars, this 1987 Spectrum 2 showcases their build for a shredding superstrat guitar. Very low action and heavy metal tone Is just what the doctor ordered. A great player with several bumps and chips as shown in pics but just cosmetic. Very little fretwear on neck. Missing Allen wrenches, locking nut blocks and screws and no trem arm. Weighs in at 8 5lbs. Plays out nicely. Comes with rough OHSC but protects guitar.

Extremely rare and interesting Strat style guitar made in Japan in the mid 1980s. I have copied some information in the photos, basically ordered by a music shop owner in this country and made in Japan (maybe Fujigen or Matsu, not sure). The tuners are Gotohs, the neck is the usual beautiful Japanese Fender style slim C with a very usable 10 inch radius. For sale is a 'Lincoln' branded double cut, thru-neck electric guitar dating from circa 1970s (Japan). Lincoln, Memphis and more were some of the 'house brands' used by Matsumoku - all essentially the same model, rebadged
This is one such example, dating from circa late 1970s, possibly very early 80s
As suggested in the title, the neck and body central portion are all one piece, sandwiched by layers of wood to provide a 'sandwich' / longboard aesthetic - very handsome indeed

This is a great bass to play. If I could, I'd keep it, but needs must
Plays well without the active circuit, but adding a couple of 9v batteries (not included) allows the player to access a new range of sounds. Having the active circuit powered is not necessary to produce a good bass sound, but it is fun to use now and then for a little variation
The build is rock solid. You could do a lot worse going out and buying a cheap new bass, or even one for around £500 in my honest opinion ... more

Branded CSL (for Charlie Summerfield Limited, the UK importer of Ibanez guitars in the 1970's) this is constructionally identical to Ibanez, Antoria or Greco models.
SL have the reputation of being some of the highest spec. lawsuit guitars and this lefty custom is no exception. Definitely a superior spec to similar looking models by say Satellite, Avon, Rose-Morris etc

Incredibly versatile guitar made in the legendary Matsumoku factory in Japan. This was the top of the Spectrum range. Comes with string locks and original whammy bar. A few small scratches and dings as you??d expect but only noticeable flaws are two small holes by the bridge where a Roland thingy was fitted then removed and some paintloss on the head (see photos)

Beautiful condition Japanese built Kimbara Les Paul. Matsumoku built - in great condition with it's original case. 5 piece neck, and mahog body with 2 piece patterned maple cap. Lovely light colour - no sun damage. Gold hardware is tarnished and fading. Aria Pro II Cardinal series CS-350 in See Thru Red. Made in 1981 at the Matsumoku factory Japan. Really cool guitars ( Kurt Cobain played, smashed and burned a CS-250) and are one of the best guitars to come out of Japan in this price range. Nice playing vintage 1970s guitar from Japan. The body is a Tamaki EG-15 and the neck a Matsumoku made Frister brand. Neck plays lovely and smooth and the pickups have that cool 70s layered tone. Looks and plays great and has been well set up ready to go with 10-46 strings.
