This is an original 1916 C F. Martin Bowl Back Mandolin. It has all of it's original parts and is plays beautifully. Makers mark with location (Nazareth, Pennsylvania) is stamped on a chrome plate at the very top back.
The neck is made from Mahogany and the lower section has been pieced together with Adirondack Spruce, Maple and Rosewood. The tuning knobs are made from Pearloid and the pick guard is beautifully inlayed with Tortoise shell.

Its not everyday a 99 year old Martin 00028 walks into the shop so we are excited to welcome this one into the fold. 1972 Martin D35 in beautiful natural finish (the perfect natural yellow!). Has signs of play wear including but not limited to dings and scratches to the top so please inspect the photos. This is a beautiful example of the Martin 00-21. It sounds truly wonderful and is in very good condition
The neck is straight. There is no lifting at the bridge or any neck joint separation. There is minimal fret wear, a few minor scratches and rub marks and a couple of small dings, fantastic for its 45 years
