This is an original 1916 C F. Martin Bowl Back Mandolin. It has all of it's original parts and is plays beautifully. Makers mark with location (Nazareth, Pennsylvania) is stamped on a chrome plate at the very top back.
The neck is made from Mahogany and the lower section has been pieced together with Adirondack Spruce, Maple and Rosewood. The tuning knobs are made from Pearloid and the pick guard is beautifully inlayed with Tortoise shell.

1969 Martin D-12-35. Basically a 12 string version of the D-35. Brz Rosewood back and sides (still being used at this point in 1969!). Replaced guard as these all were made of material that shrink and curl up??ubiquitous from the late 60s and early 1970s.

This guitar has been fully serviced with a fresh neck reset, bridge reglue, and saddle. It needs absolutely nothing. The action is low, and the sound and playability are superb.

Still thinning out my collection, this is my 1950's Martin Coletti Archtop Guitar, with Carved Spruce Top, Maple Back and Sides, and a stained Maple re-fretted board. Neck is straight and true, action is low and fast. She's covered in finish checking, and has the dings and scratches you can see in the pictures and would expect for an ol' gal of her age. 1968 / 9 vintage Martin D12-20 12 string guitar - As used by Eric Clapton. Very nice condition for an aged vintage guitar. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and headstock, sitka spruce top. Has a tiny crack about two inches just below the pickguard

Had a neck reset already and the bridge might have been shaven in the past too, before it had a neck reset

Many years ago, there was a gibson pickguard stuck to this at one point of its life and bolted the bridge which has been professionally fixed now
