I am selling a 1970's(?) full size acoustic guitar (with black chipboard case) for a luthier project. Made in Japan. I am not sure which factory this was made in. String action is appr. 3 / 16" at the 12th fret (look at last two photos for this). The neck is a very skinny width but with a greater depth (U shape). Reminds me of 1960's Kay acoustics I have had in the past with a baseball bat type neck.

Pre-owned, in Very good condition. Clean overall, some light scratches but nothing significant whatsoever. Pickups are not stock and were installed by previous owner. Pickup rings had to be modified to fit, both pickups are working well and are fully adjustable. Tremolo / bridge is stock but the arm itself is not, it is not a perfect match but is fully functional. Mid-60s Lyle three-pup Strat-ish model in superb clean condition throughout. This is the three pickup version of the two-pup Epiphone model with the Kurt Cobain cachet. Actually, a cooler guitar. A very interesting and effective take on the Strat. These pups are crisp, open, and responsive. Actually, IMO, a little more responsive than Strat pups, but not quite as tight and focused when you really lay into them. Mustang-style tremolo works great. Interesting circuitry. VINTAGE LYLE 335 STYLE 1960'S GUITAR IS SUPER CLEAN BUT THE FRONT PICKUP IS NOT WORKING. THIS IS REALLY CLEAN ONLY A FEW MARKS ON IT. SO IT IS SOLD FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING BECAUSE THE FRONT PICKUP DOES NOT APPEAR TO WORK .
