Vintage guitars for sale: Lyle

I am selling a 1970's(?) full size acoustic guitar (with black chipboard case) for a luthier project. Made in Japan. I am not sure which factory this was made in. String action is appr. 3 / 16" at the 12th fret (look at last two photos for this). The neck is a very skinny width but with a greater depth (U shape). Reminds me of 1960's Kay acoustics I have had in the past with a baseball bat type neck.

This is a late Sixties Japanese made Rosewood Lyle with X-bracing. The guitar has been set-up, and is ready to play. This guitar comes bundled with a nice, though used, serviceable, fully functioning, case without the key. (Sorry! I never had the key )

This is a vintage 12 string tailpiece from a Matsumoku guitar, made in Japan. These were used on 12 string guitars made by Matsumoku in the late 60s and early 70s, primarily on those branded as Univox (like the Coily models) and probably on those with other brands, such as Lyle, Aria, Conrad, Pan, Conqueror, Encore, and Bruno

A beautiful Lyle W440 Dreadnought Guitar, made in Japan in the 1960s or 70s. Brazilian rosewood bridge and fingerboard, which are in great shape and alone are worth the value of this guitar
A sound cannon. Playing very well and with room on the truss rod and saddle to keep it that way. In decent cosmetic condition but definitely showing some age with pick rash, a few minor dings, some finish blushing on the back and sides, and some letters lightly scratched into the finish on the side. Overall the guitars and physical good shape I don??t see any damages any cracks. The neck seems to be straight no warping, nothing chipped or broken. The only issue would be the bridge sure at some point it got loose and there are some screws folding it in place the integrity of the guitar is great. The bindings are intact, it looks like you??re gonna need a nut some tuning pegs of your choice strings and everything else is cosmetic

Mid-60s Lyle three-pup Strat-ish model in superb clean condition throughout. This is the three pickup version of the two-pup Epiphone model with the Kurt Cobain cachet. Actually, a cooler guitar. A very interesting and effective take on the Strat. These pups are crisp, open, and responsive. VINTAGE LYLE 335 STYLE 1960'S GUITAR IS SUPER CLEAN BUT THE FRONT PICKUP IS NOT WORKING. THIS IS REALLY CLEAN ONLY A FEW MARKS ON IT. SO IT IS SOLD FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING BECAUSE THE FRONT PICKUP DOES NOT APPEAR TO WORK .

This is the neck from a Commodore N25 electric semi acoustic. Made by Matsumoku in Japan circa 1972. Similar to necks fitted to other brands made at the same plant including Ventura, Univox, Epiphone EA-250 etc. Missing all parts (no truss rod nut, no tuners, no logo), so sold for parts only. Has a long finish crack along one edge, though this appears to be in the red finish only. You can clearly see the unracked yellow base coat below this.
