60's / 70's Teisco, Kawai, Kent, / others electric guitar pickguard. Made in Japan. Not sure what this was removed from, so match yours up wth the pics. This is an original chrome all metal guard not a reproduction. It has scuffs and scratches, but is not warped or bent. Overall a very usable pickguard for your project.

Travel back in time with this cool looking old Japanese electric guitar. It's a Kent Americana, model 561 electric hollowbody guitar. It's from around 1965 or 1966, back when the Japanese made fantastically cool looking guitars. But it would be until the 1970s that they made really good guitars.
Two single-coil pickups. On / off switch for each pickup. Joint volume and tone knobs. The truss rod works.
At five pounds, it is a surprisingly light-weight guitar.

Superb guitar by Kent (On licence from Hagstrom I think) which I believe was manufactured between 1962 - 1964. Guitar plays well and is in full working order. Some small bits of the vinyl covering has been scuffed in a few places and there are two small metal pins near where the neck joins the body of the guitar. The tremolo arm is missing but these can be sourced online now and again. This is a rare guitar and is in great condition for it`s age
