Vintage guitars for sale: Kay Speed Demon

Vintage Kay Speed Demon Guitar Neck. Neck is "TRUETONE" branded which is Western Auto. Neck is pretty straight by Vintage Kay standards. I got the truss rod nut to screw in and out a little but the adjustment nut is in terrible condition and will need to be replaced (it's almost impossible to get a socket on it). Kay Silvertone Speed Demon electric guitar knobs circa 1962. These were found on Kay Speed Demon guitars (1-3 pickups) and on Silvertone, Airline, and Truetone branded Kay guitars. These are black plastic knobs with a silver / chrome top and they push / slide onto the guitar pots. They're in clean but used condition. The chrome / metal piece on the top shows wear / rust

This is as nice as it gets. Just holding this guitar is an experience.
Original frets show no wear. Neck is straight
The chrome is all beautiful. The original paint is all beautiful.
There is very nice grain that shows in all directions
Even the vintage Kluson's look new
Local pickup is ok if you want to save some money. I live in Brentwood, California in San Joaquin county. But if you pick it up I can't accept PayPal.

Kay Speed Demon electric guitar pickguard for 3 pickup guitar from the 1960s. It looks like it belongs on a K573 but the upper right curve is slightly different. This is a really nice vintage Kay made Guitar. This does have some play wear. The tuners are also changed with some very good quality tuners. Some checking on the back of neck This guitar does play, and the electronics are working. comes with chip board case. sold as is but is a very nice guitar.
