Comes with guitar case. Very good condition for the age. Strings are attached but not very good, they need to be wound up better by the tuners and cut but it is in tune. Im not an expert on these but it appears that its in good playable condition as i can play a little and it sounds nice and olden days sounding. Not many scratches or marks at all. Vintage 1960s Teisco scratch plate / pickguard, made in Japan by Teisco and taken from a Kay guitar, the neck from this guitar had a block logo 'K'

Beautiful sounding Italian built Kay 550. It has marks and dings, and there's a split running up the back of the neck - superficial - it is sturdy and plays nicely. Doesn't have dove pickguards - don't know if that means they aren't original - i don't know if they all had the fancy plates. one of these scratch plates has been damaged and reglued with a split in it. Nice condition, all original and working as it should. I would say the only downside is that the tremolo arm gets loose rather easily, but it??s not that bad. If I missed any negative detail apart from the one I??ve mentioned, remember: it is used, and it is a vintage low cost instrument, so beware if you never owned one of these before.
But yeah, nice condition, serviced, and playing great.

This is a lovely "naturally" reliced 1963 Kay Jazz 2 .Its from 1963 and has all the desirable appointments like
USA bigsby vibrato ,kelvinator Art Deco style headstock ,original Grover tuners , " kleenex" style

Kay KB-24 bass neck, maple. The truss rod is threaded so it's beyond me to adjust but you might have the tools / ability to deal with it. It has a pretty significant back bow hence the truss rod being a problem. Otherwise in reasonable shape. One of the tuning pegs is a little bent but it all tunes up and hold tune OK. Frets aren't looking too bad, need a clean up to remove some corrosion but otherwise not bad. Needs some ... more

This guitar is only identified by the K on the scratch plate but in searching I believe there is little doubt it is the K-2T model from the late 1960's and quite rare with the Bigby style attachment. I have not cleaned it up or put new strings on it but if you look at the pics you can see it is in pretty good condition for its age, a few scuffs here and there and a bit of surface rust.
