Jedson short scale bass guitar made in Japan in the late sixties / early seventies. It has a sunburst finish which shows some scratches and marks as would be expected, but it is tidy. It has two pickups each with an on / off switch and with on volume control and a tone control. The scale of the bass is twenty-five inches which makes it a very useful for any person or child. Jedson solid body electric guitar made in Japan in the early seventies. It has two chromed pickups each with an on / off switch, and one volume and one tone control - all working. All the electrics are housed beneath the white pickguard. The bridge is chromed and adjustable and the tailpiece is chromed and holds the strings. For sale is a fairly rare original 1970s era Jedson Japan Les Paul Custom in gloss natural finish with chrome hardware The guitar also comes complete with a period 1970s MIJ lined vinyl gigbag / soft case. These guitars have the 1970s style ?pancake?? maple body construction (used also by Gibson in the Norlin era) and this is an earlier Jedson with the two-screw small ?JAPAN?? stamped neck plate and the maple neck has the long neck tenon with internal screw mounts.
This Encore Bass is not quite what it seems .It may have Encore written on the Headstock but the body parts of the Guitar are in fact Japanese made in the late 1970's by the same factories that made Jedson's and then put together in the early 80's, giving it that Matsumoko look inspired by a 60's Burns!
