Vintage Jedson Tenor Banjo, made around the 1930's. Jedson banjos were a brand name imported and sold by the London based company J E Dallas & Son. They were likely manufactured by various American companies such as Slingerland, Chicago for the British market. A mid range intermediate four string banjo. This Encore Bass is not quite what it seems .It may have Encore written on the Headstock but the body parts of the Guitar are in fact Japanese made in the late 1970's by the same factories that made Jedson's and then put together in the early 80's, giving it that Matsumoko look inspired by a 60's Burns!
Its a shortscale bass and with a Curvy Sounds Set up, it is now playing so beautifully, with a sweet full voice that makes the high notes ring out as sweet as the low bass notes boom!

For sale is a fairly rare original 1970s era Jedson Japan Les Paul Custom in gloss natural finish with chrome hardware
The guitar also comes complete with a period 1970s MIJ lined vinyl gigbag / soft case.
These guitars have the 1970s style ?pancake?? maple body construction (used also by Gibson in the Norlin era) and this is an earlier Jedson with the two-screw small ?JAPAN?? stamped neck plate and the maple neck has the long neck tenon with internal screw mounts.

Lovely vintage tele style Japanese elec guitar. Decent condition for 60 years old. Not perfect so check pics for condition overall
Tested through an amp, good sound from pickups, volume, tone and p??up selectors all good! Slight crackle / signal drop out when messing with the instrument cable, could just need a bit of a clean

I don't know what's inside - whether valve or otherwise, I just know it's loud. It was almost too much for the speaker with the volume knob just past zero!

Vintage 1960s / 70s Jedson electric guitar telecaster neck, made in Japan by Teisco.
Used condition, played well and was nice and straight when strung to tension, obvious wear, especially on the first three fret areas on the fretboard
It has plenty of scuffs, scrapes marks and minor indents but would be a good project for someone.

Laminate ply body thin body, approx 30mm thickness
It has scuffs, scrapes marks and indents but would be a good base for a project for someone. Overall good condition. I think some of the bridge mounting screws had sheared off when romved, the remnants are wuite deep but I think I can see them in a few of the holes

Up for grabs is this cool looking Jedson telecaster style guitar. First up, this thing is pretty worn, someone has played the hell out of this! The body is beat up and stained in places, the neck has been worn down to the wood! This guitar must have been someone??s pride and joy many moons ago!
