This is an early archtop Jazz guitar made by Arnold Hoyer

For its age, this guitar looks, sounds, and plays beautifully. There is some aging to the finish, which you can see from the photos. But it is fully functional with no structural issues. It tunes perfectly and holds strong tension well. It is ready to play and be enjoyed. There is no pick guard hence the price

Manufactured around 1955.
The guitar looks stunning in person and the pictures do not do it justice. The lacquer is cracking slightly on the bodywork but to be expected on a guitar of this age. Really well built and quality guitar with nice woods, beautiful neck construction and a carved arched back.
As pictured, it's suffered a headstock neck break which appears to have had a slightly messy but solid repair.
It will also need some work loosening up or replacing the tuning pegs but other than that seems to be in pretty good shape. Has a lovely warm tone even with its old strings!

Die Gitarre wurde selten gespielt und war eher ein Stück zur Zierde
Es ist kein Koffer vorhanden.
Die Gitarre wird ohne den Gitarrenständer geliefert
Von den Seiten fehlt eine. Folglich muss diese neu bespannt werden

Beautiful Arnold Hoyer Archtop guitar with floating Azzila Zoller jazz pick up
Nice low action and plays well, the fretboard is absolutely stunning and one of the nicest ones I??ve played, really great for jazz guitar (Charlie Christian etc). Also has a nice sound for folk / fingerpicking and I mostly played it unplugged but of course it has lovely warm / vintage sound when plugged in

Selten zu bekommen!Pickguard eines 71er Hoyer SG Bass (Version mit Bill Lawrence Pickup), vergilbtes cremeweiß. Die kleinen Bohrungen stammen von den werksseitigen Anbauteilen Guter Zustand ohne Risse, die Daumenstütze hat einen leichten Abdruck hinterlassen. maple body and neckrio rosewood fretboard
Very good action. Good original condition exept one changed tuner knob. "Ideal" Pickup . very long original tremolo arm . neck joint OK . frets OK . jack plug placed in F hole ( no extra holes) . The pots are not tested and not sold beetween PU and jack socket . but they work . when plugged to amp Sound is very good this way !!!!! More pics if required
