Original Hofner Congress acoustic guitar from 1956-1957 in excellent condition, also comes with original 1950??s custom hard shell case.

Early Hofner Serial number: 3280.

No fret wear, barely been played.

This guitar is in remarkably good condition for being over 66 years old!

The action is a a little high but it??s still ok for playing basic chords.

Beautiful Hofner Congress Archtop Guitar, 1962 serial number 11940. Excellent condition, no evidence of any repairs to the neck or body. It already has an under-sadle pickup and an added jack socket fitted. I'm also including a kit if parts to add a floating pickup and reproduction pickguard, if you want to add them. A genuine 1960s acoustic guitar in excellent condition for its age, and still very playable with a nice action and good frets
Many guitarists started their journey with these guitars including the great Hank Marvin. They were decent quality and a lot cheaper than a Gibson, Fender etc. This is a real survivor, plenty of patina but no cracks or major marks

Original body and neck from 1959, refitted with all (Brand New parts)
This guitar is a 66 year old vintage item, therefore is showing signs of wear & tear, laquer checking, chips to the paint etc . . The neck has been reset using PVA, for a stronger more permanent bond
