Awesome, ultra lively and resonant classic fully hollow German made Hofner. This guitar is in amazing condition for its age with only the usual light scratches and signs of wear. The small super lightweight (just over 4 lbs) hollow body combined with the original single coils can sound surprisingly thunderous with the right amp combo, I'd say kinda like a hollow Strat or Tele on steroids. We are very pleased to offer this extremely rare early production 1957 Hofner Club 40 serial # 163 in fine all original condition. This appears to be from the Selmer UK distributor. Its beautiful glossy blonde small semi hollow Les Paul shaped instrument with deluxe multi-ply black binding in contrast to the beautiful glossy blonde lacquer finish over the fine German spruce and flamed maple back and sides, all of which is 100% original, no touch up or refinishing. This second hand electric guitar is in very good condition for its age
All working fine,
There is wear to the finish on the back of the neck , some scuffs at the top of the headstock and the tone knob top cover is missing

Sehr seltene, frühe Club 60 aus 1959. Noch mit kleiner Kopfplatte, bar pickups und ohne Trussrod. Ein Neck-Reset wurde bereits durchgeführt. Die Gitarre spielt sich gut und intoniert sauber. Die Elektronik auch in Ordnung, das ist nicht immer der Fall bei diesen Gitarren. Bünde haben stärkere Spuren und könnten zur Perfektionierung der Bespielbarkeit abgerichtet werden.
