Rare 1950ties Höfner 486 Parlor Guitar in very good condition. There are some minor spots and wear from playing over the years. Straight neck with levelled frets and minor fretwear. Frets are at aprox 60-70 %. Tuners are slightly bended but still working properly. It could be played with both classic or steel strings

For sale this very rare 1957 500 / 5 , with the oval tone plate . Both rosewood pickups have been rewound and it has a refret from an excellent luthier. Original pots which are date stamped . It is in very good condition for its considerable age and has its original winter case

For 60 years of age it is in remarkable condition. There are some scratches, in fact quite a few all around the body. Cosmetic and with the nicely darkened laquer they give the instrnent this wonderfull patina. This was the 40th Hofner Committee to be imported into the UK (serial number 2040) the body is pencil dated 20 10 1953. It has been confirmed as being either a late 1953 or early 1954 import.
Sadly this was part of my dad??s proud collection but unfortunately I??m a left halthough a tough decision, it would be a shame for me to keep it, especially as it is a very playable guitar with great action and tone. Original Hofner Congress acoustic guitar from 1956-1957 in excellent condition, also comes with original 1950??s custom hard shell case.

Early Hofner Serial number: 3280.

No fret wear, barely been played.

This guitar is in remarkably good condition for being over 66 years old!

The action is a a little high but it??s still ok for playing basic chords.

Good condition Hofner Flaminco guitar. Circa 1961. I purchased this guitar from an elderly gentleman. He was given this guitar by his uncle sixty years ago. He had the intention of learning to play , but never did . So this lovely guitar has sat in its soft case for sixty years . While not 'mint' it has no wear on the frets , the tuners are original and undamaged. The serial number is 3875 and is written in ink by hand . I'm aware that this guitar is worth more .
