1967 Guild Starfire I Red Bisonic Pickup, Player Grade!
Here's a cool 1967 Guild Starfire I in Cherry Red with the original Hagstrom / Guild Bi-Sonic pickup ??and it absolutely roars. This one is firmly player-grade due to an old headstock repair, but it's stable, functional, and has clearly been holding up well for decades.

Here is an all original 1967 Guild Starfire 4 electric semi hollow guitar, made in the USA. This cool guitar is in good condition for its age. It has a lot of wear, nicks, dings, and scratches. It was well played. The neck is straight with good action. The frets show wear, but it still plays fine. Included is a 1960's Gibson soft shell case. This is a great guitar for any player or collector!

This Guild Starfire Special guitar is in overall very good lightly used condition
Very minimal wear and tear, just some normal handling wear that isn't glaring to the eye. Normal light wear on the pick guard and some light discoloration on some of the hardware. Small ding on the tip of the headstock (see picture 18)

This listing is for the husk only. No parts are included. The finish is Cherry Red. The neck is mahogany, and so is the body. I suspect that the body is mahogany ply or laminate. Because of the age and the distinctive grain, I think that the rosewood fingerboard may be Brazilian. There's a couple of places where the body binding shows a separation from the body, likely due to shrinkage. Other than that, the usual nicks, dings scratches, and belt buckle wear. Here we have a 1966 2 pickup Guild Starfire bass that needs a paint job and needs to be put back together. This Guild bass came in with 2 other Starfire basses and a rare black Bluesbird bass which is listed here on Reverb com. We sold one Starfire and are having the other restored. These basses and 150 other fine instruments-amps-pedals came in from an collector's estate who was mainly a bass player and played harmonica as well

I acquired this beautiful 1965 Guild Starfire III from a local guitar collector and it is truly a pro guitarists dream guitar. It was restored , modified and improved in the mid 70's and since kept in pristine condition. It is all original ( body, neck, electronics, neck pickup and Bigsby / Guild tail piece) with the exception of the tuners, which over the years became less then perfect so I replaced them with new ones of the same style as the old. I bought this 1963 Guild Starfire III double cutaway sunburst, ser# EL 336, in California in 1990. It's in very good to excellent condition with a few minor dings and scratches (see photos), no buckle rash. Frets are in very good condition. The main imperfection is where the guitar has been hanging on the wall and the varnish has compressed around the headstock, it's quite smooth and doesn't affect the playing.
