Really nice all original factory left handed guild. Extremely hard to find. Comes with paperwork, polishing cloth and original case
No cracks. But binding has seen better days. To start, there is deterioration to the binding around the end pin and at the neck heel. The neck binding was broken off in spots when I got the guitar. It's NOW TIME!! The sad day I have to let this go. The seriel number dates the guitar to 1953. It plays great, the neck is smooth and easy to navigate. This is a clean guitar. It's not mint. It does have some light scratchiness and some graininess in the finish. By graininess, I mean that you can feel the grain of the wood in some areas, most notably on the spruce top on the lower treble bout. I guess they used a very light coat of finish. The action is on the high side. I measured slightly over 1 / 8 of an inch from the top of the 14th fret to the bottom of the 6th string. And the saddle is low. Circa 1980'S Guild G37M in excellent originalcondition. The M stands for Mahagany finished back and sides. The guitar plays easily and has a loud, bluegrass friendly sound. Project guitar. Here's the good: action is playable all the way up the neck, even tuned to E std. Neck is straight. No cracks in the wood. Frets look good with minor wear. Case is gig-worthy. The bad: there's a JLD Bridge Dr to correct a belly on the top. It's not egregious, but it needs attention. I believe the bracing near the bridge needs re-gluing. Finish cracks in the top. The intonation in 1st position is good, but the closer you get to the 12th fret, the wonkier it gets. Needs a restring.... more

Beatiful warm woody tones of mature mahogany and spruce
It is impossible to come across one of these that doesn't  need a major overhaul. The guitar was refretted and had neck reset three years ago. Saddle and nut were also replacement. Noo buzz no rattle. Plays perfectly. Warm aged woods

Solid Sitka spruce top with beautiful grain (check photos), solid mahogany back and sides. Some bumps and bruises and finish crazing as in photos. There are no cracks or crack repairs anywhere. See photo with finish wear on top of neck at first fret Bone saddle and nut and Grover tuners installed 2020. L R. Baggs passive under saddle pickup installed 2008. Guild F30 acoustic guitar from 1978 with non-original hard case
Similar in shape to a 000, but with the body is deeper
One of the more simply adorned Guild acoustics with a spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlaid position markers and a 25 5" scale length
The finish has many scratches and dings with some wear around the sound-hole, but the guitar is structurally sound with no cracks

For sale is a beautiful Guild 'Mark I' classical guitar, dating from 1967 (made in USA)
These models are a hidden gem of the vintage world, constructed entirely of mahogany and built in the USA by master guitar builders, Guild. They were modestly built and produced in smaller quantities, owing to the increasing popularity of steel strings during the decade.
