Here we have a very cool vintage 1955 Gretsch 6128 Duo Jet! This guitar is in very good condition overall
Specs include a maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. The body is chambered semi-solid, with a cantilevered set neck. It has a G tailpiece, Melita bridge, Waverly tuners and a set of DeArmond Dynasonic pickups. The scale length is 24 1 / 2" with a 1 11 / 16" nut width

This is an original set of Gretsch Van Ghent gold plated 3 on a side tuners. As seen some late 60's / early 70's Jet Firebird, Duo Jet, and Chet Atkins Country Gentleman and Nashville models. Please do your own research and check the original screw holes in your guitar, since Gretsch used other types of tuners as well. Shows wear, and loss of gold plating but working properly. Gretsch Duo Jet original from 1953 Script Logo with original case and pickups As this one has the original plastic Melitta bridge broken, so I had 2 ebony replacement bridges made by a luthier to fit in the 2 posts: one for a plain G string and one for a round wound G string.
