Vintage Gibson BR-9 Lap Steel Guitar in original case comes with original BR-9 tube amp, front brown plastic bottom is cracked on lap steel guitar (see pics), the tuner knobs at the top of guitar had disintegrated off and are missing too, has been strung up, looks pretty clean w / no rust or major damage (can say the same for the amp). Case shuts and latches, I do not have a microphone cord, plugged amp in and didnt hear anything so cant say that it works or doesnt, may just need new tubes. ... more

Vintage Gibson Skylark Lap Steel made in 1957. Very smooth flowing natural grain look to go along with the gold Gibson logo at the top of the headstock. One tuner button is missing as you can see in the pictures, button below that shows wear also. There are a few very minor dings on this piece but over all it??s in great condition for its age. Very clean for the age and compared to others of similar years. Looks like the EH-100 but all of those I looked at the serial number starts out with E. Couldn't find any with the F serial Unsure of an exact date for this one Has been cased and boxed for some years and it's been stored properly. It works great and I would say very good condition. My first Hawaiian guitar was from the Sears catalog in 1959??in 1961 I got a Fender double neck Stringmaster. Then in 1963, with the British Invasion, I switched to bass guitar. It wasn??t until 1995 I started playing the steel guitar again with this guitar. The stickers are still on it, it??s how I learned to play in A6th tuning. Thirty years ago I put new strings on it and they still sound great. The only other thing I??ve done is to use DeoxIT Contact Cleaner on the volume knobs and jack plug... more

From the research I have done this is a vintage 1938 EH-150 Gibson Lap Steel Serial Number DGE 5484. The instrument itself is in very good condition except for some scratches on the lower back. The case looks very rough but seems to still be fairly solid. I have included several pictures but if you would like more or have any questions just ask.... more

I've got a very nice clean 1955 Gibson Century Lap Steel in its original and rare blue finish. This finish is somewhere between a blue and green but it's listed as blue. These are tough to find in good shape and this is one is in excellent condition. It does have a few minor dings (see photos), but overall, it's in fantastic shape.
