For sale is a 1976 Gibson SG Standard in Tobacco Burst finish.
The good:
This guitar plays super smooth, pickups and electronics work. Guitar is intact and does not appear to have had any repairs. I do have the original case (not pictured see below) Tobacco finish is gorgeous!
The bad:
Previous owner was a smoker and guitar more than likely spent time in a basement or attic, musty and cigarette smell, especially in the case. Buyer may decide to accept original case or not.

Up for sale is a 1979 Gibson USA SG Standard empty husk. The headstock was cracked and repaired as well as the neck joint. The original white finish was sprayed over in red. It's not the best paint job and looks to have been done a while ago The repairs are solid and there is no movement along the crack lines. The truss rod works great. Neck is straight. It??s been strung up and played without issues. The frets are the original fretless wonders. They don't have much wear. The nut was replaced.... more

1974 Walnut Gibson SG which has had a couple of upgrades to make it a much better all-round player while still keeping the vintage feel.
The original Gibson Tarback pickups just weren??t for me as I always found them incredibly muddy, so I replaced them with a set of Bare Knuckle Black Dog pickups. 1970-71 Gibson SG standard
It??s got mojo!!!
Ok, so the guitar came to me as a complete body and neck, no parts at all, the finish had been stripped, and a heal repair had been done.
I strung it up and let it hang for a few months to see if the repair was stable as I??d not repaired it.
On releasing it was I decided to source all the parts and re build it.
Using nitro black paint I prepped, painted and polished the guitar.

Very rare original vintage Gibson hang tag owner's manual from the 1960s - 70s. It has not been filled in so you can put it with your cherished Gibson guitar and nobody will know it didn't come with it
