This came off of a 1980 Gibson Marauder guitar. I think they used the same bodies on S-1 and Marauder, but please do your own research there. There is wear, nicks, dings, lots of buckle wear and worming (more than pics show), and scratches. No cracks. Finish is original. The body weighs 6 2 pounds

These nickel plated studs were used on many 70's Gibson guitars. These go on the "Harmonica" Bridges. There is wear on the heads. Please do your own research (or ask questions) to be sure that they're right for your guitar.

This guard came off of a 1980 Marauder. It has lots of pick scratches. There's a chip at one corner and a crack at another corner. The guard still held firmly to the guitar that it was on. A couple of screws are not original and there are a couple that are missing

This came from the neck position of a 1980 Gibson Marauder. Reads 5 95 ohms on my meter with full length (for Marauder) wire. I can't guarantee that it will read the same on yours, but I do guarantee that it works as it should. It's in good shape, but there's some wear on the black cover. Original springs and screws included.

This is an original 1980 USA made Gibson Marauder guitar neck. It;s the same neck that Gibson used on the S-1 model as well. Maple neck / maple fingerboard. There is a lot of wear. It looks like the treble side headstock wing has been reglued. It's solid. This is not a "headstock crack " These headstocks were made of 5 pieces of wood that were glued together. Only one of the outer pieces has been re-glued. The frets and fingerboard show lots of wear. There's wear through the finish to the wood ... more

This came off of a 1976 Gibson Marauder guitar. I think they used the same bodies on S-1 and Marauder, but please do your own research there. Also, Gibson used different placements for the pickup switch / blend pot in different years, and that could affect the body cavities . This body has a matte finish, and it's possible that someone may have buffed it lightly in order to de-gloss it at some point. Or maybe it left the factory like this, I really don't know. This is a beautiful set of 3+3 Grover usa tuners in chrome, from late 60s to early 70s. Stamped USA on the backs. Set is minty and looks FAB! Washers show a little indentation from use, but the set is otherwise near mint looks really good! Superior tuner action .much better than the Korean imports you get today ... more

Gibson Marauder 1978 rare vintage guitar
This guitar has lived! It is completely original with the exception of a replacement machine head, a couple of screws and the strings which are brand new
It is in great working order and plays beautifully with a rich, mellow tone

For Sale is my 1978 Gibson marauder. as you can see this one has been modified to be a simple rock and roll machine. the volume knob even goes to 11!
The pickguard is custom made and is loaded with a Gibson Burstbucker 2, Gibson Volume pot and a Switchcraft jack
original harmonica bridge and tailpiece along with original tuners
The paint is original and has some checking that you can see in the pictures
setup with 9 5 guage strings
