For sale is a used 1973 Gibson Les Paul recording. The body / neck is all original and has not been modified. I bought the husk from gibsondependable here on eBay with intentions to restore it. The only "modification" to the body is an additional strap button hole that had been drilled at some point by the neck joint, which was on the guitar when I got it. I also believe there may have been one or two extra screw holes that were drilled under the control cavity plate that are covered

For your consideration is my 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe with period correct case.
The guitar started life as a deluxe but the original owner routed the pickup cavities to install a pair of full size humbuckers. Grover bullseye tuners were also installed at the same time.
During my ownership I have had a pair of very special early Seymour Duncan Antiquity PAF humbuckers installed which were wound by Seymour Duncan himself. The signed packaging boxes are included in the sale.

Hard to find 1970's Kay, Les Paul recording copy. The Guitar shows general signs of use, with some nicks and dings here and there, mainly to the top of the headstock and a couple on the neck. This is to be expected of a 50 year old guitar and does not affect the playability of the instrument. The walnut finish on the body has faded a lovely green with the only major defect being a small blemish near the neck pickup, about the size of a 5p coin. Player's grade, but probably on the high side of that. I would play this on stage no hesitation. Very few significant visible dings.
Head stock repair - yes, but an amazing job. I don' t know who did it, but they are gifted. And yes, I know the difference.
