1980 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. Lots of wear to the finish and cosmetic imperfections. Many of the touch points on the body have the finish worn off especially on the back. The finish on the top has wear and many craze lines. The original strap buttons seem to have been replaced at some point and there are extra screw holes where i suspect the original ones were located. Very good condition for a 48 year old guitar, with just the common signs of wear, blemishes and lacquer checking as you'd expect for a 48 year old guitar (see pics). 1976 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe re-routed to a Standard so it is a "Deluxe Standard Conversion " . The conversion was done in the 80's. The front of the guitar and the neck are in superb condition. There is a ding on bottom corner near edge next to tone knob. The headstock finish is a bit rough but no cracks or repairs. The back and sides of the body have the regular dings and bumps one would expect from a 70's guitar. The bridge and tail piece were very pitted so these were replaced with period ... more

For sale is my 1977 Les Paul Deluxe in wine red. In excellent condition, plays beautifully. This had a Bigsby tremelo professionally fitted before I bought it 20 years ago. since then the Bigsby has been replaced with a brand new one. The bridge has been replaced with one with graphite saddles, this helps it stay in tune when using the trem, it works really well

This was my fave guitar to play and record with , it has thr Best les paul neck I ever played , even better tha my 50s original standards, different tone beautiful clean tone not so great for distorted , that's more Standard territory.
