This Gibson EB2D bass is in very good condition. We listedit as "very good" because of the neck repairs, but if not for thatissue, it probably could be considered "excellent " The best we candetermine, the bass is a 1968. The pots are clearly marked 1967, and the dateranges for the bass is 1966-1969. Also has the mini humbucker in bridge. This is a 1968 Gibson EB2D. There is a head stock repair made at some point in its history. The body and rest of the neck is in great condition. There are finish checkings across the body but that's to be expected
That mudbucker in the neck is wooly! And the bridge has bite! The switches and knobs work as they should with a little scratchiness as you use them. Aside from that you won't notice it.

Built in 1994 and in 9 5 / 10 superb condition! Has a few pencil tip size indentations but no chips, scratches, cracks, buckle rash or damage. Nearly new condition!

A great playing example with a good neck and excellent action. Playability is superb. Tone is out of this world. Nice and warm and fat and mellow. Original bass boost switch works well and sounds incredible

Heavily worn Vintage Gibson Case a rock and roll relic with some cryptic band name on there.
all latches work, Handle works, Some of the trim has been glued down.
Measure your bass 16 inches wide lower bout can flex out to 16 25 so maybe it's too a snug fit for an EB-2 an EB-0 has tons of room in there. 12 inches upper bout and 45 inches long.

This is from a late 50's or 60's Gibson EB-2 bass guitar. The pickguard is in solid condition and comes with its original bracket.
The bracket has some nice patina on it. It would polish up nicely if desired. The guard has some marks running the length of it. I tried to get them to show in the light. They are not scratches and not into the pickguard material. They are certainly normal playwear I just like to over-describe so there are no surprises when it arrives

Some scratches and string wear on the chrome cover. worn Pat. number sticker on back. Reads 6 06 on my meter. Original solder to the cover. I cannot guarantee exact ohm readings, but I do guarantee that the pickup works and sounds as it should.... more

The Gibson comes with a stellar silver and gold very early flight case you could ship it overseas in that thing and I wouldn't be afraid.
