It's all original with the exception of the pickguard, switch tip, the upper strap button and one of the plastic pickup surrounds. The original hardshell case is included. This complete set of Kluson Sealfast tuners came from a 1962 Gibson Super 400C (which oddly - or not - came new from the factory with a late 50's neck on it) - all in good working order, these tuners are suitable vintage replacements for Super 400, L5, Johnny Smith and Byrdland models. The gold plate on the gear housings, bushings and screws is in very good condition, with gear housings showing just a few spots of wear - the keystone buttons show about 85% wear.... more

This is a beautiful Gibson Byrdland from 1974, with its famously short scale length of 23 5 inches and rather shallow body that make it for many a more comfortable alternative to a Gibson L5 or Super 400, while sharing most of their specs and class.
