So the big news on this one is there is a crack on the headstock. I had it strung up with some medium gauge acoustic strings and it never seemed to bother it at all but the crack flexes a little bit when torqued upon. I have not screwed it down or glued it which would likely help. The truss rod I imagine is holding it in tighter then it would be if there was not a truss rod and I assume there is a truss rod because there is a truss rod plastic cover although I have not removed it. This is a Carson J. Robison model 926 Flat Top Acoustic Guiter that was made by Gibson around 1934 when they were located in Kalamazoo Michigan. Here is a nice little project, WIDE NUT Gibson LG-1 in sunburst. It's very solid and already had the plastic bridge replaced with a rosewood one. The action is a bit high though so we are selling this as a project that needs a neck reset. The top is nice and flat and it should be an easy project for the right luthier. Up for sale is a 1965 Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar. This guitar is in fair to good condition. It does show normal signs of age and use, including scratches, dents and dings. The finish on this guitar is crackling, over most of the guitar. There are small holes on the front of the body where I suspect the pick guard use to be. The tuners have also been changed out, and the original tuner holes are exposed. There are no cracks to the body or necks. There is light fret wear.

Seriously great sounding 1966 Gibson J-50 in its original Natural finish. This example has clearly been well loved over its 52 year life. Neck angle is great with tons of life in the frets. Huge and open sounding and has a nice active pickup system installed. Overall in good condition with lots of play wear, finish checking, dings, dents and a few large top cracks that have been repaired. Presented in a great condition overall, this 1963 J160e has been with its original owner from new and has been well taken care of. Over the years, the guitar has retained an all original condition aside from a recent refret, new pickguard, and strengthening which has been professionally applied to the bridge area.
