Extremely rare 1978 Gibson mk81. Based on the serial number I'm pretty sure 1978 is the correct year . this guitar had a very limited number produced and you don't see them too often. Almost never in fact. This particular guitar is in great shape compared to others  I've seen. There is a few dings on it. Some of the binding is lifting but not too bad. Up for sale is a 1965 Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar. This guitar is in fair to good condition. It does show normal signs of age and use, including scratches, dents and dings. The finish on this guitar is crackling, over most of the guitar. There are small holes on the front of the body where I suspect the pick guard use to be. The tuners have also been changed out, and the original tuner holes are exposed. There are no cracks to the body or necks. There is light fret wear.

Vintage 1930s Kalamazoo KG-31 archtop acoustic guitar made by Gibson. This1930s KG-31 is all original except for the pickguard and the pickguard hardware. The old Kluson tuners work pretty well considering their age. The Brazilian rosewood bridge is set as low as it will go, but despite the low bridge height, the string action at the 12th fret is fast enough that the guitar is very comfortable to play all the way up the neck

This is a beautiful pre-war archtop that I understand to have been made in the are of Schönbach / Luby before the second world war.
The designs of this period emulated the Gibson L-5, and this one is marked 'Milano' but would have been very similar to other models such as Radiotone, Coletti and Avalon

The condition is really nice
Fabulous guitar, freshly fitted with Gibson light gauge 80 / 20 Bronze wrapped strings
It took a bit of digging to find the serial numbered date (a complicated system of numbering evolution), the result is "made in Kalamazoo in 1950"
The action is really good, the manufacture is amazing for a 75 year old and after several hours of cleaning it is coming up with nice patinated glossy finish

1967 Gibson LG-0 in all original condition, barely played in almost 60 years. All solid mahogany, ladder braced. Serial number starts in either 86 or 88 which makes it 1967, the year that the guitar was purchased by the current owner in the US

This is a 1960??s Gibson Blue Ridge 12 String Jumbo. For its age it??s in surprisingly good condition. It??s tuned to dropped D and played with a capo on second fret to give E tuning. This is a sensible tuning choice for Gibson guitars of this age, particularly 12 strings as the pressure of full E tuning can cause bridge lift and high action.
