Vintage guitars for sale: Gibson L6-S

This is a 1976 (bicentennial) Gibson L6-s Custom. Solid maple body, and rare 6 position selector switch. When I got this guitar, the bridge pickup had been replaced, but I have purchased the original and swapped it back. Both the neck and bridge pickups are now original. They both sound great . This one was originally owned by Kevin Carlson who was a guitarist in Aldo Nova??s band in the early 80??s. He played on Aldo??s second album as well as on albums by Blue Oyster Cult and UFO

This is a used L6S. Although it is not a pristine instrument it is perfect in what matters: playability, tone, and versatility. It has the original Bill Lawrence pickups
The guitar is labelled as a "Second" and the only issues I can see are some irregular finish along the high frets (See photo) This does not affect the sound or playability

Up for sale is a late 1970??s Gibson L6-S Truss rod cover plate. The screw holes show lines in the back which make me believe that these were cracked at some point but then glued back together which appear to be solid now. This was very common for these vintage Gibson truss rod cover plates but either way it??s better than having no cover plate! White shows some yellowing to it also.
